Industry leader Digital Signage Today reported Jacksonville International Airport debuted AI-powered persona holograms with the launch of a Proto hologram of Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan. The hologram avatar of the mayor will provide greetings to passengers in a range of languages, including English, Spanish, French, German and Japanese, with the mayor able to update the spoken content via text at any time. The hologram display unit features include the ability to add languages, to beam in holograms of other speakers for real-time interaction, and to serve as a touch screen and voice-activated kiosk for information, advertising, wayfinding and additional content.
