Welcome to this month’s edition of the Proto Hologram newsletter.  Never tied to just one industry, Proto had a busy month – deploying units to theaters across the U.S. in partnership with Lionsgate, and teaming up with enterprise leaders like Accenture and Abbott at two of the year’s biggest conferences.  The New England Patriots expanded their “We Are All Patriots Stage” with new holograms of team legends, while across the globe, our partners at Creative Mut welcomed UK comedian Romesh Ranganathan to their showroom, where he came face-to-face with an AI hologram of himself.  Meanwhile, our Boston-based partner, Geminai, traveled to Ghana during Breast Cancer Awareness Month for the Walk for the Cure.  Geminai demonstrated how Proto can deliver life-saving education, live consultations, and AI-powered guidance – proving its power to inform, connect, and transform on a global scale.  Here’s a closer look at where Proto showed up, and what it helped make possible.

Premier Proto Partner, Geminai, Brings Holographic Breast Cancer Education to Ghana

Boston-based partner Geminai is using Proto’s holographic display and platform to support breast cancer education in Ghana, where late detection contributes to a 44% mortality rate.  In partnership with Ghanaian surgeon Dr. Beatrice Wiafe Addai, Geminai created multilingual holograms focused on early detection, breast self-exams, and local health myths – recorded in both English and Twi.  The team traveled to Ghana to gather survivor stories, pilot the tech in clinics, and explore how holograms can reach underserved communities.  The success of the initiative led directly to additional projects across West Africa, and Geminai’s Joanne Stanway was interviewed by the BBC about the project’s impact.  The mobility of the Proto M2 units also have the ability to support virtual consultations and interactive FAQ AI avatars, expanding access to care without requiring travel.

Proto & Lionsgate Team Up for Now You See Me: Now You Don’t Hologram Experience

Lionsgate partnered with Proto to deliver a first-of-its-kind hologram experience for Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, placing life-size holographic pop ups of Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Justice Smith, and Ariana Greenblatt in 15 major U.S. theaters.  In the widest public use of the Proto Selfie feature yet, fans get their selfie taken by the hologram of the star – then receive them instantly via QR code, turning moviegoing into an interactive, shareable moment.  Featured in Forbes and Boxoffice Pro, the activation shows how Proto is redefining entertainment engagement at scale.

Proto & Accenture Redefine Enterprise AI at Dreamforce

At Dreamforce 2025, Proto was front and center at Accenture’s flagship booth, powering an interactive, AI-enabled hologram experience that demonstrated how enterprises can make artificial intelligence feel truly human.

In a showcase built around the Dandelion Chocolate Company, visitors were guided by Sami, a Conversational AI Persona displayed in a Proto Luma, and integrated with Accenture’s tech stack and Salesforce’s connected ecosystem.  The agentic AI experience brought storytelling, personalization, and business use cases to life – making Proto an unforgettable centerpiece at one of the world’s largest enterprise tech events.  This expanding partnership, and Proto’s ability to seamlessly connect into systems like Salesforce, shows how our platform is becoming essential infrastructure for enterprises looking to humanize AI, drive engagement, and deliver measurable impact across complex ecosystems.

Abbott Showcases the Future of Cardiovascular Care with Proto at TCT

At this year’s TCT conference in San Francisco, Abbott Vascular used Proto holograms to bring medical storytelling to life – projecting global experts and advanced cardiovascular technologies in real-time, life-size 3D.  Developed in collaboration with HoloMedia, the immersive experience featured expert-led demos of Abbott’s endovascular and coronary innovations, transforming the booth into a high-impact learning environment.  Proto’s ability to connect experts, content, and conversations across continents shows how immersive tech is reshaping healthcare communication and accelerating clinical impact.

New Holograms of Team Legends Debuted at the "We Are All Patriots Stage"

The New England Patriots announced several team legends that have become Proto Holograms on what it calls the “We Are All Patriots Stage.”  Fans can now experience players and coaches like Julian Edelman, Vince Wilfork, Bill Parcells, Dante Scarnecchia, Devin McCourty, and Mike Vrabel talking about the team and its history.  The team’s Hall of Fame is located adjacent to Gillette Stadium.

British Comedy Star Makes Proto AI Avatar Part of Sky TV Series

When Romesh Ranganathan came face to face with a life-sized hologram of himself at Proto’s showroom in South Korea, run with partner Creative Mut, the UK comedian was blown away – not just by the convincing holographic image, but by the way the avatar captured his sense of humor perfectly.  “It’s amazing technology,” he says during the episode.
