Howie Mandel tells ET about his love of Proto hologram as a way to avoid situations that trigger his germaphobia. He shares a studio with Proto and uses it daily, calling it a way to “Think inside the box.” “I figured out a way that I can be close to people without wearing a mask…,” Mandel told Entertainment Tonight on the night of America’s Got Talent’s new season premiere. “I’m a germaphobe so I can go places without anybody breathing on me. With Proto, I can be in nine theaters at once, so I can do a show anywhere, anyplace.”
