Sports Business Journal’s Joe Lemire broke the news that Transcend Holographic Media, in partnership with the Kansas City Royals, produced a hologram of Hall of Fame player George Brett telling the story of the famous Pine Tar Bat Incident. The hologram was presented in a Proto Epic unit at Kauffman Stadium during a series of games between the Royals and the Yankees. Tony Snethen, the Kansas City Royals Vice President of Brand Innovation and agency lead of Pine Tar Collective, said “Working with Transcend Holographic Media and Proto provides valuable new tools for engaging and providing a stadium experience that’s second to none.”
