Travel Industry business news leader Skift’s Justin Dawes broke the news that Proto Hologram and Four Seasons have partnered to put hologram units in select suites at its Beverly Wilshire location in Beverly Hills. Dawes quotes Reed Kandalaft, general manager of Beverly Wilshire, telling him that the hotel is starting with interactive concierge capability, but it’s exploring other ways the devices could be used: “That includes projecting guests to remote meetings, providing shopping options with luxury retailers on Rodeo Drive, hosting business speakers, and offering entertainment and fitness content.”
