ZDNET named AWS Japan and Proto’s presentation at Nikkei Shimbun’s Retail Tech Japan 2025 at Tokyo Big Sight the top tech innovation. AWS Japan exhibited solutions for each stage of the purchasing process, from before visiting the store, shopping, to customer experience (CX) analysis. Proto, a US partner of AWS, proposed a purchasing experience with avatars serving customers using generative AI services such as Amazon Bedrock. It can be used for multilingual support and to promote luxury items that are sold in limited stores.
